Engraving
Engraving is a printing technique in which an image is transferred from a matrix to a support such as paper or fabric. Dies can be made from metal, wood, stone or other materials, and are engraved with specific tools to create the desired image. Once engraved, the matrix is inked and pressed against the support, transferring the image. Engraving allows the production of multiple copies of the same image, each with unique details and textures from the original matrix. This technique is widely used in the production of artwork, illustrations and large-scale prints.
